100% recommend this experience! It was well worth the money and there was so much to do! The bus was so comfortable for our long journey. The stop for breakfast was delicious, we even went back to order seconds! The boat ride was beautiful and we got to see all the animals that was explained in the information. The lunch spot was unique, professional and delicious! The wine tasting was entertaining and enjoyable. Lastly the sand buggy was so much fun. Our driver was kind and took great pictures for us. The sand boarding was also so much fun. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We were the only English speakers in the group but our tour guide Gaby was extremely helpful in translating all the information she shared with the group. This was amazing and we would totally do it again!

Everything was great. Just our guide put us some pressions in order to do everything in time. But everything was well organised. We started with a very good breakfast in a typical local, then we went to Paracas and had the boat tour (you can observe fabulous animals) and after we went to have lunch and taste the Pisco and finally we went to Huacachina in the desert. We tried sand boarding, we hopped on a buggy to explore the sand mountains, we explored the dunes by foot. As specified breakfast and lunch are not included in the price.

Full description

After your early morning collection, make a stop at an artisanal bakery to grab something for the road. Arrive in Paracas and head to El Chaco port, located in the Bay of Paracas. From here, sail to the Islas Ballestas in a modern boat and take in the beautiful view of the islands. As you sail, keep an eye out for marine wildlife, such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, black cormorants called guanays, and different types of marine birds. Then, it's time to eat. Visit a winery called "NIETO" and dine in the restaurant inside. After lunch, it's tasting time. Here, learn how to make the Peruvian pisco with a guide. Then, test your knowledge and taste the different types of pisco produced locally. Continue to Ica (Huacachina) and feel the peacefulness as you walk around the scenic lake. Then, get your adrenaline flowing on a dune buggy and sandboarding tour in Huacachina. Begin with a thrilling 4WD ride through the dunes with an experienced driver. Once you've reached the top of the dunes, you can give sandboarding a try. Finally, begin the return journey. Make one last stop on the road at “Racimo de Uva," where you can pick up some snacks or souvenir gifts, including wine, pisco, Peruvian drinks, and traditional cookies. Return time to Lima - approximately 10:30pm

  • -Baby under 1 year old cannot participate in activities (The buggy is too dangerous for babies).
  • -The buggy is only driven by the professional driver .
  • For a sandboarding standing position, a professional boards are available for rent for an extra fee in Huacachina
  • -It sometimes happens that the sea is too rough to visit the Ballestas Islands by boat. If a weather report announcing a storm, we may cancel the boat tour around the Ballestas Islands for security reasons. In this case a financial reimbursement will be refunded to you (S/. 40)
  • -Excursion in buggy and sandboard have a duration of 45mn.
  • -Clients must have personal travel insurance. IZI PERU does not cover accidents or incidents occurring during activities.
