Brilliant tour that was great value for money considering the alternatives available. Driver/tour guide was very friendly and made sure to keep everyone involved and ensured we all understood everything, before, during, and after the tour, regardless of whether we understood/spoke French or English.. The tour lasted just over an hour and covered the main spots of the city, various districts and went past the main monuments that Lille had to offer. The driver would explain the history behind each of the monuments prior to arriving at them so you already knew what you were looking for. Mixed in with this was the audio guide through the headphones and the visuals on the overhead monitors. The only improvement I could suggest is an upgrade to the bus, to a double decker bus, so that those who like to take photographs can do so with an unrestricted view! Notwithstanding, I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone and everyone as an alternative to a walking tour. 10/10! :)

What could be nicer than to tour the city comfortably seated in a minibus? This is the perfect way to discover Lille in 75 minutes. Equipped with an audiovisual system in 9 languages (French, English, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian), this city tour by bus offers views of the city’s main sites and monuments, from its origins to the most modern districts. Admire the Goddess statue as you drive past the Place du Général de Gaulle (Grand Place) and see the Opera House, the Chamber of Commerce and the Beauregard Row at the Place du Théâtre. Of course, you will also drive past the Townhall with its Belfry, the Citadel and the Old Paris Gate.

Well worth doing to gain an overall view of Central Lille. There is some remarkable architecture in the centre of the city - not obvious if you have never visited. The driver/guide was very good. The Christmas Fare and associated activity was a bonus.
