I'd highly recommend getting the City Pass. Super convenient and with a little planning you can get a lot done without having to rush. My only caution is to confirm what exactly you get with the pass. The planetarium, for example, is for children and overly simplistic. Not being in the city core meant we used up a lot of time.

Very helpful staff in the tourist office. Booked guided bus tour as our first activity. As we were on an early tour and it was out of season we had the driver/tour guide to ourselves. He was informative and knowledgable and took his time to allow us to see everything. We proceeded to use the pass to travel by tube and bus to an art gallery and to visit the belltower and other museums. It would have been easy to make even more use of the pass as there was so much to do.

Public transport links are excellent, I was able to get to Ploegsteert using the pass. Many of the museums are not in Lille but surrounding areas so factor journey time in. Really easy to use and collect, don’t forget to activate it for both museums and public transport.
