Sit down to a luau buffet of poi (mashed starchy vegetables), fresh salads, Kalua pork baked in the imu, and seasonal fish.

This luau came highly recommended by others we asked who frequently visit Kauai. This was my second luau experience and my wife's first. I loved the rich, history and commitment to visual arts and music This luau is. It was east to park, get in, get seated and the location held a lot of shops and vendors we visited prior to the start of the show. The organizers definitely have seating and flow down to a science. We never waited very long for food, drinks or dessert. My wife left saying this was one of the greatest shows she has ever witnessed. We will definitely be back.

The evening was just beautiful. The dances of the luaus are impressive and the performers full of passion, which I have rarely experienced. You felt right in the middle instead of just being there. There were a lot of people at the event and if you spend too much time at the stands you will miss the first few dances. You have to wait a little long for drinks and the buffet, but if you're fast enough, it works wonderfully. There was enough choice and the food was ok. Something for everyone. I would definitely recommend it if you are planning a larger event. There is another luau for a little less "show" if it's too much for someone.

It was a high level production of Kawaii history... not a typical luau. Usually there is a big portrayal of all Polynesian dance and changes from country to country... this was completely a Kawaii history done in a play like set up. It was way way way too hot. There should have been fans set up to bring airflow in to the area.
