We are Civil War history buffs and Fort Sumner was on our bucket list. Weather was nice, boat-ride smooth, museum at terminal interesting, and walking around fort fascinating. Park rangers were informative and the lowering of the flag at 3:30PM incredibly patriotic and moving.

I have been to Ft. Sumter a few times but not since Hugo. Happy it's still a fun and learning experience. This is my friend's 1st time. Very enjoyable. Love history. Ferry out to the Fort was very nice also.

This is an excellent experience and a must due excursion if you are interested in U.S. history. You have around an hour at the fort and that is plenty of time. The rangers are helpful and informative.

Friendly staff and well-maintained Monument. Enjoyed the trip
