This was an amazing tour - especially since we had a horse trainer / owner as our guide Nick Newman. The visit to Keeneland race track was informative and we got fun behind the scenes stories. The horse farms were beautiful and we were able to spend time with the horses. Our tour was supposed to last 3 hours and it ended up being about 4 hours - not one person on the group complained about the extended time - that’s how good it was.

Our guide, Mike, amazed us with his breadth and depth of knowledge about the horses, farms, racetrack, jockeys, betting, and the environment that makes Lexington the Horse Capital of the World, which is not just empty marketing words. He lives in the area and knows it like the back of his hand and totally provided us with the flavor and ambience. He told many wonderful stories and answered all questions skillfully and knowledgeably. He was epitome of a great guide. I can say that with some legitimacy because I was an architectural guide for over thirty years in Oak Park, Illinois. My family thanks Mike and your organization for the most enlightening three hours that we had in our week in Kentucky. We love horses and everything about them, and we learned a lot.
