We were on our honeymoon and decided to try a new cooking experience together which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay in Levanto. We didn’t know what to expect but from the very start, Ermando and Clara made us feel at home. The location of their home was beautiful and away from the bustle of the city, a perfect place to immerse ourselves in Ligurian culture. The dynamic duo started by introducing us to some of the unique aspects of Ligurian cooking. Pasta making always seemed hard; this class made it very approachable and they answered all our questions thoroughly. We took away so much from this cooking class but most of all the importance of how food can bring people together. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Cinque Terra. You will learn lots and even make some lifelong friends. Thank you Ermando and Clara for making our experience so memorable. Also, we would like to thank our driver and new friend Cinzia. Grazie mille. Saluti!

It was such a lovely experience. They picked us up from the train station and communication was good. The kids enjoyed the class and they even substituted the coffee for a chocolate drink instead. Looking forward to using their little gift of sea salt seasoning too from their garden.

We had a wonderful time with Julia and Matteo! They were great teachers for riding the e-bikes (the nicest ones I’ve ever been on), learning the local history and culture, and all around fantastic guides. I hope to come back and do this again-it was so fun!

Forgot the name of my guide but she was black and had beautiful big hair. She is very professional, not overly friendly to any specific group. Interacted with the kid and brought laughter to all of us.
