Guided visit of Leuven.

We will start our guided visit of Leuven at Martelarenplein square, located in front of the train station. Leuven, located in the province of Flemish Brabant, is one of Belgium's leading university cities. We will discover the history of its prestigious teaching institution at the University Library Square, whose bell tower is one of the symbols of the town. We will also pass by other iconic monumental buildings, such as the Rectorate of the Pedagogical Faculty. We will continue our tour in front of the famous Fountain of Wisdom, located next to the Grote Markt. In this central square we will contemplate the façade of the Leuven City Hall, a true masterpiece of the Gothic style of Leuven. Just in front of the town hall we will also see the exterior details of St. Peter's Cathedral. The next stop will take place at the Oude Markt square, considered "the biggest bar in the world" due to its large number of bars and restaurants. Then we will pass by the church of St. Michael and the chapel of St. Anthony, which houses the tomb of Father Damien. Do you know why this character is so popular? We will find out!

This is the first time I used this tool to visit a city. And it's very easy and pleasant to walk through the beautiful streets of Leuven while benefiting from clear explanations. Superb tour, superb student city!!! How fun it must be to study here! Bravo for all the explanations and suggestions for restaurants and bars.

Sabine has a very pleasant way of not overloading the participants with numbers that they will quickly forget anyway, but rather imparting historical, economic, architectural and political knowledge of Antwerp in a narrative style that is not exaggerated. One could have listened to her for longer.

Nice audio guide, perhaps too detailed. Important and much appreciated information also provides information on life in the city. Big flaw: the area of the Beguines is missing. For the low price I recommend it, perhaps not listening to all the points. Nice that it also gives directions

Downloading and setting up the tour on my phone was frustrating and took a long time. The instructions were hard to follow and I had to contact the chat help. Once set up I very much enjoyed the app. I was impressed by the accurate tracking and in-depth commentary’

Our guide, Ria, was very knowledgeable, spoke well and clearly and made good choices.
