  • Krakow: Chopin Piano Recital at Chopin Concert Hall

    2. Krakow: Chopin Piano Recital at Chopin Concert Hall

Indulge your ears with the sounds of Chopin’s piano music, and experience one of the most important elements of culture. Appreciate the genius of Poland’s best-known composer in the unique atmosphere of Krakow's Market Square. Attend a special concert dedicated to Frederic Chopin, an icon of Polish and European music and a piano virtuoso in his own right, and listen to his most famous piano pieces performed by talented young pianists. Concerts are held in the Chopin Concert Hall, decorated with Gothic architectural elements. Listen to nocturnes, mazurkas, and polonaises, in which Chopin expressed his feeling of longing for his homeland. The combination of atmospheric interior and excellent music will provide an unforgettable experience, and not just for music aficionados.

Very pleasant evening! Go to the square for dinner and then walk to the concert hall. A gentleman will give you a warm welcome and a glass of wine. The room itself sits maybe 50 people, but there were about 7 people there on a weekday night. This was great because it felt more intimate and you were much more connected to the pianist. This is how music should be listened to! The concert is about an hour, so it’s perfect after a long day of exploring. Afterwards, find a place serving dessert pierogies!

This was one of the most amazing nights of my life!!!! I dont know where to start but I will try, when we arrived at the meeting point the guides were super friendly and explained how the night will work, when boarding the boat we were given our first of many free drinks, they were very generous with the amount of alcohol. The cruise lasted for 2 hours and we cruised up and down the river, the views were very nice and the DJ was smashing out tunes that really got the crowd going, I was on my own and was worried it would be a little awkward but the staff were really nice and hung out with us all night, one of them was a magician and performed some pretty cool tricks for us. After the cruise they took us to 3 clubs, each better than the previous, it was great getting to skip the line and at the very last club the line was massive, and I'm not surprised as it was pumping inside. Great night out and money well spent.

Tom was superb. Very knowledgeable and extremely patient with a bunch of guys having a trip. Beers and food were all superb. I’d recommend both the trip and Tom the guide. 5 stars from us

Perfect arrangement - the host had found som cozy bars, and there was a free shot when entering each place - would highly recommend this, to experience the nightlife of Krakow
