- The port of Ierapetra is easily accessible by car or by public bus from Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos, and there is free parking at the port
- Access to the mainland of Chrissi island is prohibited. The boat will stop close to the shore and you can swim near the beach
- There are no shops on Chrissi Island. Bring cash to purchase snacks and drinks at the bar and restaurant on the boat, or bring your own snacks with you
