We had a nice private tour, there were no other tour goers! Nice luck! A super nice guide, who paid attention to details. It was about 45 km drive, quite a bumper road, which you really couldn't have driven through with a normal car. Many birds spotted along the way. Meney took his time. To take a picture. The moth moth spotted. The drive to the Telica volcano took 1.5 hours! There we went to climb 800 meters up to the volcano. Very nice to see and to smell the sulfur fumes. Stinks pretty bad. Meney took the time to take pictures of us. Then walked to a cave and spotted meat mice. Then photographed the sunset. Then down again from the volcano. My partner fell on the way back. That was bad luck. Nothing serious, fortunately. Our guide still took care of the wound. And on the way back by car we drove past the Farmacia on Leon. All in all a great experience. Can recommend it. Watch out for the descent. You can fall ugly.

Despite Friday afternoon traffic, we made it safely to the volcano and were able to enjoy the location without a lot of people. There is a trade off in this activity for seeing the lava versus seeing the sunset. The stars and lava were worth it. Special thanks to David for being a helpful guide.

Great hike up the volcano with lots of information. To connect the descent on the board is very fun

The tour guide was excellent from Eco Tours CR. We had a fantastic time seeing Managua.

The guide provided additional attention to the group member if required
