A Memorable Journey to Alchi and Lamayuru Monasteries with Delectable Ladakhi Cuisine Alchi and Lamayuru monasteries was nothing short of spectacular, and I am compelled to share my wonderful experience. timely pickup from my hotel, the journey was beautifully organized by Afreen Holidays, whose attention to detail and thoughtful itinerary made the day incredibly special. Lamayuru Monastery, known for its stunning moonland-like terrain, The lunar landscape and the peaceful atmosphere was truly soul-soothing. A highlight of the tour was the delicious Ladakhi lunch served at a local restaurant. The flavors were authentic and hearty, providing a warm culinary embrace in the cool mountain air. Dishes like thukpa and momos were perfectly prepared, and it was a delight to savor such authentic cuisine. I have already decided to book another adventure with the same company for tomorrow. Next on my list is a day trip to the mesmerizing Pangong Lake. .

The tour to Alchi, Likir, and Lamayuru was a memorable experience. The driver arrived at the pick-up point on time, was friendly, respectful, and easy to communicate with. He also drove very well and shared some interesting insights along the way. However, he wasn't a guide as mentioned in the booking, but purely a driver. Additionally, the tour was listed as 8 hours, but in reality, it should have been closer to 9.5 hours. Due to this miscommunication, I missed the final stop at the Hall of Fame Museum, as I had another tour planned afterward. Overall, a great tour with some room for improvement. Rating: 4/5.
