Mont-Tremblant: Laurentians Treetop Observatory and Walk

Mont-Tremblant: Laurentians Treetop Observatory and Walk

The Treetop walk is a new and truly unique way to take in scenic views from above the trees. You will start the walk along a path that winds through the forest and up to the treetops. The nearly one-kilometre path leads to the observation tower that rises 40 m (equivalent to a 12-storey building) above the forest to offer a stunning bird’s eye view of the Laurentian forests and mountains. The walk ways and main tower, with a maximum slope of 6 degrees, are completely accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. From the top, you’ll have a breathtaking view of the rolling hills typical of the Laurentian mountain range, and landmarks such as Mont-Tremblant. The total distance including the tower walk is 2.7 km round trip and takes about 2 hours. The activity takes place at a former fish hatchery with lovely grounds and a heritage building that includes a restaurant.

We had a truly memorable day, thanks to our wonderful driver, Sorinel, who went out of his way to inform us about the region and stop at many scenic places so that we could take photographs. He was extremely kind, courteous and considerate, as well as being an excellent driver! We thoroughly enjoyed the trip-it was great to escape the city and breathe in the beautiful countryside. This tour is to be highly recommended!

Get your guide indicates slots from 9am while the activity starts at 10:30am in the summer. So waiting 1h30 in front of the door is not acceptable. Likewise the free acrobatic show is every day except Tuesday and of course, this is not indicated so we went on Tuesday ... disappointment. The platform update is not correct, check carefully on the supplier's direct site to avoid making a mistake

I would strongly recommend this activity to anyone who is interested in nature. Our guide was very informative in both French and English. The walk up to the observatory as well as the lookout itself was beautiful. I hope to return to observatory in the fall months to see the beautiful colours.

The Treetop is a must in Tremblant! It’s an easy walk up to the observatory. The view is quite impressive at the top and you’ll find very informative stations along your walk to learn more about Laurentian animal and plant life. Great activity for a chill date!

Very enjoyable day. A must do day trip from Montreal.
