The baths were part of the golden circle route we had planned for our visit. I initially was planning to go to the Blue Lagoon but was unsure if it was open again. However, I’m so pleased with the experience we had here and it is such good value. The setting is beautiful with the pools overlooking the lake. I even braved a quick swim in the lake which was invigorating! There was plenty of space in all the pools and the sauna and the changing rooms and showers were clean and well thought out. I would definitely recommend. You do not need to print out tickets though as stated on Get your Guide. The reception just needed my name and time slot and the message from the spa itself says they don’t need paper tickets.
The weather was terrible but once you enter the baths everything becomes peaceful.
