Full description

See the immense Grand Canyon and spend free time taking in its natural beauty on this day trip from Las Vegas. Whether you choose a guided walking tour or explore on your own, spectacular views are guaranteed, and snacks, drinks, lunch, and round-trip transportation along Route 66 are included.

Following your Las Vegas pickup, enjoy a light breakfast aboard your luxury bus — it's an early start, so you can bring your own takeout coffee too — as your friendly guide and driver take you to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Along the way, you'll be surrounded by stunning desert scenery and iconic Historic Route 66 towns like Seligman, which is said to have inspired the Pixar movie "Cars", before making a stop at the Grand Canyon Caverns.

After lunch at an Arizona diner, you'll enter Grand Canyon National Park and make your way to Mather Point — your first look over the breathtaking landscape will be a memory you'll never forget. You can then be driven to the Grand Canyon Visitor Center for 2 hours of free time to learn and explore.

If you want to start exploring from Mather Point, you're in the perfect position to choose the 2.5-mile trail along the canyon's ridge instead of hopping back on the bus. Your efforts will be rewarded with ever-changing, spectacular views. Learn more in-depth information by choosing the option with a guided walking tour.

Once your time at the South Rim has come to an end, sit back and relax on a smooth ride back to Las Vegas. You will then be dropped off at the location of your original pickup to enjoy the rest of your Las Vegas vacation.

Very fun! Fiona was great. Wish they would let you use the bathroom on the bus, so you wouldn’t have to waste precious time waiting in bathroom lines at the canyon. Also, we drove right past the Dam on the way back. Would have liked them to stop for 5 mins there for a quick pic.

Excursion rather well organized, we knew the day before at 6:00 p.m. the meeting point for the next morning. The midday snack is largely adequate (choice of sandwiches between ham, turkey and vegetarian). There was a first stop of 40 mins on a historic portion of the famous route 66, with souvenir shop, café, exhibition of old cars. We arrived at the Grand Canyon at 1:30 p.m., we did not opt for the guided walking tour, it is very easy to do it alone, there is only one 3.4km route, it just have to go one way because the bus picks us up at the end of the route 3 hours later (no need to go there and back). Stunning ride the immensity of the Canyon is incredible!! The only downside to this tour is that the bus ride is really long… We left Treasure Island at 6:45 a.m. and returned there at 10:45 p.m. expect a long drive). I recommend!

My partner and I were picked up on time and got away quickly and flawlessly. The bus was comfortable and cool. Nice with the snacks & lunch that were offered and that we could have dinner on the way back. We had 3 hours as I said in the Grand Canyon which was fantastic. We joined the guided tour, which I recommend if you want to get as much as possible out of the time you have. Both me and the partner are super satisfied with the guide and the driver and thank you for the fantastic experience we had.
