Full description

Join a small group tour to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and take in the Seven Magic Mountains as an optional extra. Meet your experienced tour guide at your hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard. Climb aboard the air-conditioned van to start your trip to Red Rock Canyon.

Follow the 13-mile Red Rock Canyon Scenic Route, stopping at the most beautiful viewpoints inside the nearly 200,000-acre National Conservation Area. Admire a series of colorful sandstone formations that sit beneath an older limestone backdrop, providing ideal photo opportunities. Some stops include a gentle hike to visit ancient petroglyphs, while others are great for photos and sightseeing. Right before the sun sets, take a short, easy hike to the peak of Pine Creek Canyon, overlooking Red Rock Canyon and the mountains.

Witness firsthand the artwork of Mother Nature as the sky changes color from blue to fiery red to a soft orange and pink. Finally, climb back in the van to head back to your hotel. If you choose the Seven Magic Mountains option, you will head straight to admire the art installation by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone after pickup from your hotel.

Marvel at the garishly painted boulder stacks and take some fantastic photos before heading to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area for the tour.

We had a great time. Art, our guide, was amazing. Very informative. Not a ton of hiking (about a half mile was optional) but got us a great taste of the hiking in the area. Scenery was beautiful and the tour ended up being just our group so we had a private car all to ourselves. Would 100% recommend.

What a trip! Beautiful scenery and well worth seeing it at sunset. Our host , Lankun, was so friendly and knowledgeable, her passion for the area was infectious. Although we weren’t expecting all the stops and clambering over rocks we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It is maybe worth explaining in your guide that participants need to be reasonably fit and to be ready for lots of photographs to be taken!
