Visit the West Rim of the Grand Canyon on a full-day excursion from Las Vegas. Enjoy a stop at the Hoover Dam, as well as breakfast and lunch during the tour. Viewing the Canyon from the world-famous glass Skywalk platform is available as an option.
What to Expect
On your full-day tour from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon, you’ll have a chance to see the Hoover Dam, and also enjoy a drive through the Joshua Tree Forest.
Your professional driver/guide will provide information about the sights along the way. In addition, this excursion includes a narrated bus tour at the Grand Canyon, a nutritious breakfast, and your choice of lunch at 3 Grand Canyon restaurants.
When you arrive at the West Rim you’ll have your first views of the majestic Colorado River below. There are also spectacular views from Eagle and Guano points. If you hike the trail at Guano Point, you’ll reach the West Rim’s highest point, where the views of the Colorado River are breathtaking.
A visit to the Hualapai Ranch is also included in the tour. At this Native American settlement you can watch a shootout, play cowboy games, or take a wagon ride.
You can also book an optional visit to the world-famous glass Skywalk platform or a helicopter ride to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
The Skywalk extends 70 feet from the rim of the Canyon, and with its glass bottom makes it possible to see the bottom and sides of the Canyon. You might choose to board a helicopter for a flight that takes you 3500 feet below the Canyon’s rim, and spend around 20 minutes exploring one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World!
