Our tour guide, Tony, was excellent! He provided historical information along the way that kept us entertained on the long drive. It was HOTTTT in the Canyon, but just to bask in this natural wonder was mesmerizing. The Skywalk was awesome! (Personal items, cell phones and cameras are prohibited on the Skywalk and are locked into lockers before entering. Trying to sneak your cell phone or camera photos will get you sent to Security and maybe fined, so don't be that person. There are photographers there to take photos of you). The only thing that may have been missed is if any of the rock formations that visitors were climbing around on were actually sacred grounds being disrespected. Wear sneakers or hiking shoes. This is not the place for flip-flops or open toe shoes! Overall, well worth the 10-hour trip day!

Liked that we did Hoover dam stop off on the way back. The stay at the canyon needs to be 4 hour minimum as there’s just not enough time to enjoy. Sometimes the park shuttle takes 15 minutes so that’s time wasted waiting instead of enjoying. Don’t waste time by getting lunch there, take it with you or buy it at the gas station.

Long enough time to hike in Grand Canyon West Rim

We enjoyed the tour to Grand Canyon as it was not that far from Las Vegas. We even stoped at Hoover Dam, which was also breath taking. Unfortunately we only stopped at the corner of the road for only 10 minutes, and we were not able to see the Dam and the bridge, just a part of the water tanks. But we crossed the bridge with the bus. But time in Grand Canyon was amazing, and super beautiful. Plus we get sandwiches on the way.
