The whole journey was fulfilling and you get your money's worth. I especially enjoyed exploring the West Rim and we we given our own free time to enjoy the area. Mike our driver/guide was knowledgeable and experience in handling the tour with us. one thing that can be improved though is the pick up time but due to F1, some detours were unavoidable.

It was an excellent day and we were delighted with the choice we made to do it by bus. We got a much better feel for the country and enjoyed the whole experience. The only reason we scored the guide as 4 stars was that a combination of a poor microphone, use of the microphone and his speed of talking meant it was hard to make out all the comments and instructions, and we are native English speakers from outside the US. The non native speakers had no chance. Also, some details eg restaurant at Eagle Point being closed, should have been known to the operator in advance annd communicated to those who had booked lunch ( we hadn’t). All that aside we had a great day and would thoroughly recommend it.
