The day begins with pickup (starting from 4:30 AM) from your Las Vegas hotel and heads out on Route 66, perhaps the most famous road in the world. Feel like a true American as you ride Route 66 all the way to the Grand Canyon. Next, arrive at the Grand Canyon South Rim National Park and enjoy 3 hours to explore with your guide. Visit Grand Canyon Village as well as the National Geographic Visitor Center, and learn about this vast and interesting landscape. At the end of an epic adventure, enjoy drop-off back to your hotel. Nothing to see route 66, barely any info of driver who was on his own. Canyon is spectacular but beware, there was no mention of it being a hike. A 2.1 mile hike. As someone of limited mobility this was a big problem. It does state on Google that shuttles are available so rather than missing out by staying on coach after 7hr trip with nothing to see, I went ahead but for some reason ,no shuttles working. Had to walk it which left me very ill. Good job we had 3hrs there as it took me that to walk the supposed 40 minute truck.
