Then stay at Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel, located in Tusayan, right outside the park with convenient and free shuttles to and from Grand Canyon National Park.
On the second day, after breakfast, enjoty more free time to explore other parts of the Grand Canyon Park and then continue along Route 66 to drive back to the bright lights of Las Vegas with time in the evening for more activities.

There will be park benches alongside the curb with Las Vegas Blvd and Palazzo tower visible east of it (left of you if you are sitting on the benches).
