From the local partner's check-in office, transfer to the launch field in Pahrump, an hour west of the Las Vegas Strip. As you drift silently and peacefully over the countryside, watch for desert wildlife, snap photos and even talk with envious onlookers down below. Upon landing, participate in a traditional champagne toast, hear the story of how hot air ballooning began, and how it led to modern-day aviation as we know it. Plan to be away for up to 6 hours in total, allowing for check-in, travel to the launch location, a safety briefing, set-up and pack-up of the balloon as well as the return drive back to your original meeting location.

We did a private tour with George today. He was very kind, polite and knowledgeable. George gave us a full description on the ride there, provided fun facts, and spoke very passionately about the scenery and wildlife. it was very humbling to be with a guide that clearly loved what he did. When we got to the mountains, George pointed out all the best spots for photography, was very willing to take photos for us and added to fun boomerangs my friend and I created. George brought along a sled for the snow and was kind enough to give us a push to get the best sledding experience. We made conversation while we walked and explored Mt. Charleston and really enjoyed our time with George. We would 100% recommend a private tour with George specifically, he is such a great person and excellent photographer, the best guide you'll get. If I had to say anything as a critique, it would be that the company itself needs a minimum of 4 people to do the group tour or they will try to cancel/change it.

Great show! Good value for the price, especially since I chose VIP seating. Meal was decent, hot, good taste...especially the cookies. Alcohol was not weak (lol jello shots)! I would be nice to be able to pick your seats, or at least your section...however we thoroughly enjoyed our "miscreant' Romanian dude! Loved his attitude and our "cheerleader" was really into our section.

I had a great time on this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and there were three great spots to take in the beauty of Mount Charleston. I would recommend anyone on holiday in vegas to to go and enjoy this trip.

Best advice is to come with plenty of time. Take your time because it is sight and sound. Wonderful.
