What People Are Saying About Las Ramblas
We enjoyed the flamenco show very much. The musicians and dancers enjoyed themselves too and passionate dancing and singing really gave a Spanish feeling. After a short walk we came to a nice restaurant/bar where we enjoyed a simple but nice tapas meal together with other guests, and the sangria kept coming, wonderful bloke that Irish fellow
On our trip we searched tickets for our first Flamenco show. We didn't aim the most spactular and prestige one, and we found this show. There are only 2 dancers, and they dance each in his turn (the stage is very small) - so just know that there are shows of more the 2 dancers. The 5 men band who played the music were spactacular! We were so happy we had the chance to sit in the 2nd row, thus we could see their feet. I don't know how is it for the crowd who sit in the back. We paid 64 euro for a couple (32 for each). A single ticket only for this show costs 15 euro in the entrance. We skip the line in the entrance because of this deal. The tapas dinner afterwards was in another bar (close to the flamenco place). The dinner was very good. 9 dishes, but we were stuffed after 4 dishes :) and also lots of Sangeria. If you're searching for a taste of flamenco. we recomeds! About the dinner, do your math but it was very good!
We have been tracing the roots of the novel in the old city of Barcelona and it was entertaining and interesting how Cristina introduced us to the author s fictional and non fictional world. She is a competent coach. Muchas Gracias Cristina/ Kristina!
Tour was great, not too long, but long enough to see all the important places. We had great guide who knew a lot of interesting facts and she translated everything to english, was very helpful and she was able to answer all our questions. I highly recommend this tout to all Zafon fans :)
Our guide was really cool. Very knowledgeable of the street, its history, etc. We took our time up La Ramblas and it was very enjoyable. Guide was Barcelona native that speaks really good English, so no issues with that. Would do again and highly recommend :)
