The Swedish roll-on/roll-off ferry sank on her maiden voyage in June 1980, just 1.4 kilometers off the coast of Larnaca. The wreck, which is 172 meters long and lies at depths ranging from 16 to 42 meters, offers a multitude of diving experiences due to its massive size and intricate layout (PADI) (Johnny Africa). Marine Life: The wreck is home to a variety of marine species, including groupers, barracudas, sea bream, and the occasional turtle. The clear waters provide excellent visibility, often up to 30 meters or more.
