I really recomend this activity… it was so pleasant to spend time in a little house in the middle of the forest, were we enjoyed with the sauna and bath in the lake… and also an incredible dinner after that! The tour guide and Tania the chef were so friendly.

Full description

Experience a traditional Finish sauna on an Arctic lake. Let the heat purify your body as the mellow wintery magic of Lapland purifies your soul. Let go of the stress and enjoy the presence of your loved ones. Spend 10-15 minutes in the sauna and then have the options to jump into ice-cold water or even a big pile of crystal white snow. Allow the cold plunge after a steamy session to increase your blood flow, relieve pressure and boost your endorphin levels.  The sauna part is approx 2 hours. After this unique Finnish spa experience, enjoy a traditional dinner of blazed salmon by the fire in a wooden cottage. Gaze up at the fair skies on a pitch black night and keep your fingers crossed for the chance to see lights dancing in the sky (evening departure ONLY! From end of October - middle of March). Keep your eyes peeled for flickering shades of blue, green, violet and sometimes even crimson red. Northern Lights are a natural occurrence and we are unable to guarantee activity, vibrancy or colour on the day of a tour.
