Full description

Chase the Nothern Lights and see flickering shades of blue, green, violet, and sometimes even crimson red. Have a special time with a sauna experience and traditional dinner in a wooden cottage by a private arctic lake.

After being picked up from your hotel, you will travel 30 minutes to the lovely Langonlampi lake. As soon as the sauna reaches the necessary temperature - it's time to go to the steam room. Enjoying a sauna is a personal thing, you should always listen to your body and do as you feel best.

For the first time, you should stay in for about five minutes. After cooling down for a few minutes, go into the sauna again and stay a bit longer. When you come out of the sauna, you can just sit down and admire the beauty of nature around you.

After the warm sauna, you can go swimming in the Arctic lake or take part in an unforgettable snow jumping activity. The tradition of jumping into the snow or a cold lake after a hot sauna session may have even more benefits than a sauna session alone. After, settle next to the fire to enjoy a traditional blazed salmon dinner in a warm and cozy cottage. Families with children or those looking for a mellow time in the Lappish nature will enjoy this tour.

My 4 friends and me would recommend Alex and Tanja a 100% It wasn't well engaged as we totally forgot we book the activity and were thinking it was the day after but Alex wait for us at our apartment for 20 minutes before kindly driving us to their amazing place Their place was breathtaking (like really in the cold water), a traditional sauna which make us more than happy and the swimming in the frozen lake was the most amazing experience of our lives We didn't see northern lights as the sky was cloudy, but the experience was still unbelievable After that Tanja invited us to eat what she cooked, a smoky salmon and local vegetables which were all so tasty Thanks you Alex and Tanja for your kindness :) (While he drove us back Alex even told us an incredible place to visit the next day as we had nothing planned, and we wasn't disappointed at all since the place was incredible)

We had a wonderful evening somewhere in the middle of nowhere :-) Alex is a great host and told us a lot about life in Lapland. The sauna experience followed by an ice bath was an absolute experience. Thank you for the great time!
