Full description

Enjoy a fantastic day out on this tour of Lanzarote. See the picturesque village of Yaiza on the edge of the volcano, where you’ll have the opportunity to admire the volcanic crater of the Timanfaya mountains or simply enjoy a cup of cafe con leche (coffee with milk). You then head west towards the impressive rocky coast of Los Hervideros, with unique structures formed by volcanic eruptions. See Lago Verde, a green lake in the middle of the black sand beach of El Golfo. Admire the bay made from tuff and lava, with unusual colors and bizarre shapes. You’ll than travel by bus towards Timanfaya National Park. Here you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a short ride on a dromedary and to experience the world on top of these fascinating animals. Marvel at the Montañas del Fuego (Fire Mountains), try out amazing experiments with the geothermal energy, and enjoy the breathtaking tour through the national park. Learn about the history of this natural wonder's development. During a break in Mancha Blanca, take the opportunity to visit the famous church of Nuestra Senora de los Dolores. Admire the beautiful Canary architecture and see the statue of Madonna which, according to legend, halted the flow of lava from a volcanic eruption. Visit the picturesque wine-growing region of La Geria and learn more about the painstaking work associated with the local methods of wine growing. You can also taste the delicious local wines in a local Bodega (cellar). Passing by the Monumento al Campensino, the tour heads to the green northern side of the island with the Valley of 1000 Palms. Experience a landscape completely different from what you have seen so far on the island.

Enjoy the enchanting atmosphere along the way to one of the island's highest viewpoints. Admire the fantastic view of the Valley of 1000 Palms, Monte Corona, and the northeastern coastline with its picturesque villages. Visit Jameos del Agua, one of the most beautiful places in Lanzarote. Visit a cafeteria decorated with beautiful hanging baskets, a concert hall, a pool, and a small lake which connects to the sea.

The Grand tour is really a good deal to explore some wonders of Lanzarote. It is a long day trip but so worth it. All went smoothly, well organised and well explained in a variety of languages. A very international mix of Spanish, French, English and some other nationalities on this trip. Some parts of the itinerary might be argued (camel ride, wine tasting) but just be willing to "read" and enjoy the landscape. Only suggestion: maybe some more chances of photostopps.

This experience was amazing !! the sights we seen were fabulous. The only downside was the lunch, the place felt dirty and the food wasnt the best, it felt very rushed in there, would also of liked to stay at some places for longer but definitely very good value for money!
