On this 4-hour northern route tour of Lanzarote, you’ll begin with a visit to a unique public space designed by César Manrique. Jameos del Agua is an underground oasis built inside a volcanic tunnel, and a place of unusual beauty.
You’ll also pay a visit to Mirador del Rio, located 482 meters above sea level and offering spectacular views of the Archipielago Chinijo Marine Reserve. The reserve comprises 5 islands located off the northern coast of Lanzarote.
Another stop on the tour is Villa de Teguise, the island’s former capital and now a charming, typical Canarian village. On a stroll along the village’s cobbled streets you’ll learn how this village was one of the most important settlements in the history of the Canary Islands.
