Full description

Benefit from morning pick-up and journey by air-conditioned bus to Marina Puerto del Carmen to board the fast "Biosfera Jet" boat and venture out to sea. Enjoy live commentary on board and be treated to a picnic lunch later. Get panoramic views of the coast of Lanzarote on a 1.5-hour boat trip to the Island of Lobos. Follow the paths of the dolphins that inhabit the area, and look for the lovable creatures along with whales and other marine mammals in their natural habitat. Get detailed information about the wildlife on the way. Upon arrival, explore a small village and its natural pool, and experience the charms of the local life or go for a hike or a swim on the unspoiled beaches.

This was such an amazing experience and we would definitely recommend doing so if you can afford it! We had a transfer from Playa Blanca which took 20 mins (there were no pickups on the way) which went smoothly. Carlos and his team aboard the boat were so friendly and informative and knew exactly where to find dolphins. We managed to see two pods of dolphins on our way to Lobos and one pod on the way back too. The island of Lobos itself has beautiful rock pools to swim in which is what we spent all of our time doing on the island but we’re sure the other sights are just as great. There is little shade when on the island though so please do wear sun protection and drink plenty. The boat ride back was very choppy but it felt like our very own rollercoaster and Carlos stood with a few kids and their parents at the front of the boat to make it a memorable experience for them! Again we cannot recommend this enough and if you’re ever here please do take this opportunity!
