Our family loved the buggy tour and our tour guide Christian was helpful, proffesional and fun. The buggies did exactly what they were designed to do, over some really harsh terrain. I definitely recommend the tour, it might appear a bit pricey but it really does represents good value for your hard earned money.

Full description

Get your adrenaline pumping on a guided buggy tour exploring the wild north of Lanzarote. Go off-road and away from the busy resorts as you ride through the old quarries of Guatiza to the highest part of the island at Peñas del Chache.

Choose to join the tour directly at the meeting point or be picked up and start your experience at Costa Teguise, where you will get set up in your buggy, with a windbreaker and dust-protection goggles provided. Once ready, begin the adventure ride on a scenic track that passes through the old quarries of Guatiza.

Continue towards the Mala Dam, and take in the views of the ruggedly beautiful barren landscape dotted with cacti. Finally, arrive at the highest point of the island, Peñas del Chache. Take a break and enjoy the magnificent views of the landscapes and volcanic landscapes.

Begin the descent through Teseguite on your way to the El Mojón quarry, before making your way back to Costa Teguise. If you choose the option with pick-up included, you will be taken back to your accommodation.

  • There are no weight restrictions for this activity
  • You will need to bring your original driver's license, as copies will not be accepted
  • You can ride your own buggy if you want as long as you have a driver's license and you can also share a buggy if the other participants don't have a driver's license

Our guide was amazing and made the day great! I didn’t get his name but we were on the 14:30 trip today, he is at the back of our buggy in one of the pictures. He deserves an award, he was the guide, photographer and ended up being a mechanic all in one. Best experience we’ve had on a trip! We will definitely be doing it again when we return! The buggies, facilities and staff were amazing. Definitely recommend!
