Full description
Depart Lanzarote and cross to the neighboring island of Fuerteventura for a day trip. First, travel by bus to the harbor of Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, and board the Lineas Romero fast ferry and sail to Corralejo on Fuerteventura.   On arrival, get a welcome from your experienced guide as you board a comfortable air-conditioned coach. Make the first stop at the picturesque fishing village of El Cotillo, where you can stroll the beachfront and watch the waves roll in. Discover the most beautiful spots the village has to offer: roam its streets, relax on one of the beaches, or visit Castillo El Tostón, the tower built in the 15th Century to defend the coast from African, French, and English pirates. Then, stop off in the heart of Corralejo town to explore at your own pace. Discover all that the town has to offer, including the narrow streets, seafood restaurants, and old cottages that date back to the town's days as a fishermen's village. Then, go to the dunes of Corralejo Natural Park for some fun and photo opportunities. Have some free time in the afternoon to enjoy the fabulous white sand beach, where you can top up your tan or take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean. Return by coach to the port at Corralejo for the boat ride back to Lanzarote. On arrival, board the transfer bus back to your drop-off point.

A very windy stay

The ferry crossing was very pleasant. The bus was ready for collection at the port. The first excursion point was the small fishing village "El Cotillo". There was very little going on there (only the tourists felt walking around). The view of the bay was nice. Very great photos can be taken there. The port was very small and not really worth seeing. When we got to the bus, we continued to the shopping area in Corralejo. The bus stops right on a main street above the mile and lets the tourists out of there. If you want to shop, this is the place for you! If you'd rather have a nice lunch on the beach, go down the mile and take a street to the right. There are some taverns on a small bay. After 1 1/2 hours we went to the "Caribbean of Europe". From the bus you can see the white sand dunes of Corralejo. Bathing was not really possible, waves too high! It's very, very windy there! RL speaks Spanish, French and German throughout (exhausting!)

Visit to some places in Fuerteventura

The tour starts with the transfer from the hotel to the port of Playa Blanca. The crossing to Orzola is quiet on the way, a little more lively on the way back. The first stop on the tour is the small village of El Cotillo, apart from the view of the cliff there is nothing to see. The second stop is Orzola, where there is free time to eat / shop, the village is very pretty. In the afternoon we continue towards the natural park where we make a brief stop at the dunes to take photos. Last stop of an hour and a half on the beach, unfortunately the beach is very crowded and much occupied by establishments. I recommend it to those who don't have much time and want to visit a part of the island.
