Full description

Depart Lanzarote and cross to the neighboring island of Fuerteventura for a day trip. First, travel by bus to the harbor of Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, and board the Lineas Romero fast ferry and sail to Corralejo on Fuerteventura.   On arrival, get a welcome from your experienced guide as you board a comfortable air-conditioned coach. Make the first stop at the picturesque fishing village of El Cotillo, where you can stroll the beachfront and watch the waves roll in.

Discover the most beautiful spots the village has to offer: roam its streets, relax on one of the beaches, or visit Castillo El Tostón, the tower built in the 15th Century to defend the coast from African, French, and English pirates. Then, stop off in the heart of Corralejo town to explore at your own pace. Discover all that the town has to offer, including the narrow streets, seafood restaurants, and old cottages that date back to the town's days as a fishermen's village. Then, go to the dunes of Corralejo Natural Park for some fun and photo opportunities. Have some free time in the afternoon to enjoy the fabulous white sand beach, where you can top up your tan or take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean.

Return by coach to the port at Corralejo for the boat ride back to Lanzarote. On arrival, board the transfer bus back to your drop-off point.

Great hike! The guide, Aurora, was always very precise in giving us the various explanations. Maybe times are a bit tight… I would have avoided (or made to last less) the walk in the center of Corralejo, as it is simply a long street with very common shops and malls. For the rest we were satisfied with the very particular village of fishermen and the beautiful dunes, where we stopped for about ten minutes to take some pictures. For the price it has it's worth it!

All in all it was a successful trip. We had booked the tour in German, but unfortunately it was only offered in English, Spanish and French on site. More time at the locations would have been nice. Especially at the beach it was only 50 minutes, which was way too short.

The excursion was very interesting, with several stops to visit some of the towns in the north of Fuerteventura. The visits were always free, but the time was well calculated. The routes were enjoyable thanks to the guide, who explained curiosities about the island and the stops we had made or the ones that came next.
