Full description

Spend a magical day in the southern side of Lanzarote on a guided tour to Timanfaya National Park. Experience the world from atop a camel during a camel ride. Learn about geothermal energy at the Fire Mountains. After pickup, travel by bus to Timanfaya National Park. Once you arrive, start with an exciting short ride on a camel (own expense) for a new perspective of the area. Marvel at the Montañas del Fuego (Fire Mountains) and try experiments with geothermal energy while learning about how geothermal energy works. Continue on a tour of the national park while learning about the history and development of this natural wonder. Gain a deeper understanding of how people’s lives were determined by this force of nature through records of the volcanic eruptions documented in the 18th century by a priest from Yaiza.
