Your tour begins bright and early, your guide picking you up between 8:30 and 9:00 AM, en route to the Langkawi jetty. As you head to Pulau Dayang Bunting, the first island on your itinerary, you’ll stop along the way to feed Langkawi’s famous eagles, who will dive majestically into the water to retrieve pieces of chicken that your boatman chucks off the side of the boat. After the 20 minute ride, you’ll arrive at the unspoiled paradise of Pulau Dayang Bunting, known for its vast freshwater lake, surrounded on all sides by forested mountains. Rent some paddle-boats, snorkel, or just have a leisurely dip in the lake — it’s up to you. After exploring the area and taking in the lush vistas, head back to the boat, bound for Pulau Singa Besar. One of the more untouched islands in the Langkawi archipelago, keep your eyes peeled for freely roaming peacocks, monkeys, and prehistoric monitor lizards as you wander the verdant beach. The last stop on your tour is Pulau Beras Basah, a tiny island prized for its soft sand beach, replete with palm trees and crystal clear waters. Relax during your hour of free time, or wander down the pier for a better view onto the tropical sea. Afterwards, you’ll hop back onto the boat, reflecting on the island splendor of Langkawi as you head comfortably back to your hotel.
