Explore one of the marvels of Puno with a tour of the Uros and Taquile Islands in Lake Titicaca, explore the floating islands in the lake, and learn more about the lives of the people who live on the islands in the highest lake in the world. Begin the tour with pickup from your hotel in Puno or the Puno bus station, and make your way to the pier or main port. The tour begins with a show of typical Puno dances inside the tourist boat, then travels to the floating islands of the Uros, currently considered the National Reserve of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Learn about the people of the Uros, who still maintain their own culture and tradition, as well as artisanal fishing, especially carachi and silverside. Spot some of the 75 islands that are inhabited at present. Sail by boat for 2 hours and a half, to the natural island of Taquile, during the navigation you will be able to observe the chain of mountains. Find out more about the people of Taquile and their famous textiles. Enjoy approximately 2 hours for the visit, a 1-hour delicious typical lunch in front of the lake, before returning to the bus station or your accommodation. Day 1: Puno – Uros Island – Amantaní After pickup and a transfer to the main port, take a boat ride to Uros Island. Fishermen and hunters inhabit this floating island built of totora, an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of the lake. Learn how the totora is woven and laid and layered to build the surface of each island. As an optional activity, it is possible to make a journey in a boat called "balsa de totora", a traditional form of aquatic transport also made from the reeds.  Then, continue to Amantani Island. Upon arrival, a local family will take you to their home. A traditional lunch will be prepared by the locals with products from the area. Next, visit the famous pre-Inca Pachatata temple. At dusk, hike to the top of the island at 4130m, from where you will be able to observe the sunset over Lake Titicaca. Dinner and overnight at the local family's house on Amantani Island. Day 2: Amantaní – Taquile – Puno After breakfast, head to Taquile Island, famous for its handicraft production and beautiful textiles. Locals even wear a special hat to signify if they are single, married, or in a position of authority. Explore local temples, tombs and terraces from the pre-Inca era, as well as learning about traditional farming techniques and the island's ancient customs. Lunch is not included here, Then return to Puno and be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 1: Islas los Uros y Amantani We will start the tour with the pick up at your hotel at 7:30 a.m. Immediately we will go to the port where the boats leave for the famous floating islands of the Uros. Already in the floating islands our guide will explain the interesting history of the islands and the local culture. We will continue the trip for approximately three hours towards the island of Amantaní. Here a member of a local family is waiting for us to take us to their house for lunch. In the afternoon you can go for a walk to the top of the island to observe the beautiful sunset of Lake Titicaca. Day 2: Taquile The day begins with a traditional breakfast prepared by the family and then we will say goodbye and continue with the trip to the island of Taquile (1 hour by boat), on the way we will be able to see beautiful landscapes that surround Lake Titicaca. We will continue the trip walking towards the top of the island where we will have the opportunity to visit the artisan markets of the town and see the different chullos made by the men of the island. Before leaving the island we will have lunch one of the typical dishes with a spectacular view of the lake. After descending the 538 stone steps we will take our boat back to the city of Puno. Go for a medium-level hike on the island, known for its handwoven art and collective farms, and enjoy a lunch of local produce served in a local restaurant. Then, return to Puno city on the shore of the lake for the end of the tour services. The arrival to Puno will be by 4:00 PM.

Chacaltaya Mountain is 27 km from downtown La Paz, it is a mountain with 5400 m.a.s.l., it was a sky slopes the hightest of world. Nowadays, this is a magnific viewpoint of Mountain range, different colors laggon, La Paz City, Titicaca lake and hightlands boliviano. Enjoy walking on mountain hight. The difficulty of the ascent of the mountain is relatively easy when there is little snow, although due to the height and oxygen it turns out to be hard. You can return to the car at any time if you feel unwell. Once we have visited the mountain, our transport is taking us to the valley of the moon, this journey lasts approximately 1h 30m if we have a clear path. Moon Valley is 39 km aprox. from Chacalataya mountain, we descent until 3200 m.a.s.l. Here, it is eroded area with clay obelisks and sometimes "viscachas" tipical animal of hightlands. We need only imagine and feel be as the moon. Once the visit of the valley is over, we will return to the center of the city of La Paz. Some passengers can take advantage of staying on the road to visit other parts of the city, of course with the guide's recommendations.

Begin with pickup from your accommodation in the historical center of Cusco at 9:00 PM. Rest for the night on a sleeper bus with 160 degree reclining seats. Arrive in Puno in the early morning, enjoy a tasty breakfast, and have the chance to take a shower before heading to the port. Hop on board a speedboat for the short transfer to Uros Island. Take in views of rugged mountain ranges and high plateaus, providing a dramatic backdrop to the shimmering waters of the lake. Be greeted by a local family on Uros Island and hear about their traditions, customs, and lifestyle. Catch a speedboat to the island of Taquile and admire its rolling hills and terraced fields, with steep cliffs plunging down to the shores of Lake Titicaca. You will have the afternoon free to get to know the historical center of Puno. Board the sleeper bus at 9:00 PM and travel overnight on the sleeper bus and arrive back at your hotel in Cusco in the early morning (5:30 AM).

Depart from La Paz on a guided two-day trip that includes a boat journey on Lake Titicaca and visits to Copacabana, Yumani and Isla del Sol, where you will be spending the night. Enjoy the magnificent scenery of the cobalt blue lake and snow-sprinkled mountains as you explore the land of the Inca. The tour will depart La Paz early in the morning for Lake Titicaca. Your first stop will be at the Tiquina viewpoint, where you will get some stunning panoramic views of Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world at an elevation of 3,812 meters. Next, take a ferry across to Copacabana, the main Bolivian town on the shore of the lake that sits right beside the border with Peru. From here you’ll travel by speedboat to the Isla del Sol, considered by the Incas as the birthplace of their Sun God. In the afternoon, you’ll have time to explore Yumani, on the south coast of the island, and marvel at the Sol Pilko Kaina temple and the details of Inca architecture.  After spending the night on the island, you’ll have the next day free until 15.30, giving you plenty of time to visit the northern side of the island, home to the Golden Museum and the Inca Fountain of Youth. In the afternoon, you’ll take the boat back to Copacabana, where you’ll have time for dinner before catching the bus back to La Paz where you will arrive around 23.00.
