Lake Nakuru National Park

Take a 3-day tour to discover the Masai Mara Reserve, the most popular tourist destination in Kenya. DAY 1: Get picked up from your hotel in Nairobi city center at 8:00 a.m, then drive to Maasai Mara Nature Reserve. Pass the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for breathtaking views. Arrive in time for lunch after check-in at your camp. In the evening depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve from 4.00 to 6.00 PM. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Enkajiang Camp/ Rhino Tourist camp or similar Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner. Stay overnight in a big, private tent that has a bed, linen, shower, and toilet inside. Mosquito nets and a hot shower in the evening are provided. DAY 2: Spend the full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. Enjoy picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty and splendor. This day you will go all the way to the river where the wildebeest cross into Mara from Serengeti. All year round there are lots of resident Hippos and crocodiles sited at the banks of Mara river. After the game drive, you will return back to the camp for dinner, merriment and overnight. DAY 3: Maasai Mara to Nairobi Early morning breakfast then check out for your drive back to Nairobi. Enjoy a brief stop at the Maasai Village for cultural encounter on your way- Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people as you en route out of Maasai Mara. Thereafter commence your drive to Nairobi. A simple complimentary lunch will be provided on the way in a traveler's motel. On arrival you will be dropped at your Nairobi Hotel. This marks the end of the tour.

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve At 8:00 AM you will be picked up from your hotel within the Nairobi city center/Westland’s and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the great Rift Valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the Rift Valley. Here you will see the semi-active Mount Longonot and 2 other dormant volcanic mountains, Mt. Suswa, and Mt Margret for 10 minutes. You will arrive in time for lunch. Check in the hotel. Later at 4:00 PM depart for a 2-hour game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve until 6.00 PM. Return to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with a good time for resting at the camp. This is the most important day since we are hoping to see the big five, especially the big cats which are extremely illusive. Also, we will visit the famous Mara River where the great migration happens, have a guided tour by the rangers to see the Nile crocodiles and hippo families and to top it off have a picnic lunch under a tree in the park overlooking the vast landscapes. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. It is a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos that form part of the Big Five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which you depart on a 3-hour drive back to Nairobi to arrive at around 3:00 PM. You will be dropped off at the city center/hotel within the city center.

Spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches under a tree in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty. Arrive in time for lunch followed by relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Lanet Matfam resort. Day 4: Nakuru to Naivasha. Breakfast. Depart by 7 a.m straight to the park. It's a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos. Possibly observe the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts 3 to 4 hours, after which you depart on a 1-hr drive to Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch at kifaru Hotel. After lunch, Later go for a 1 hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing on the banks of the lake. Evening accomodation at astorian Hotel or similar standard. Day 5: Naivasha - Amboseli Breakfast head to Hell's Gate for a biking safari , walk in the gorges and take photos with animals. Those who cant bike we will use the safari car. Finish all activities at around 12 noon and have lunch in Naivasha at Kifaru restaurant. Start drive to Amboseli park which is famous for its scenery, backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro which dominates the landscape and open plains. arrive in the evening; Check inn at 1. Manjaro Camp- budget option( Big self contained tents) Dinner and overnight at the Hotel Day 6: Amboseli Full day Breakfast, and spend the day in Amboseli National Park. Known for large elephant herds, and views of Mount Kilimanjaro across the border in Tanzania, observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and hundreds of bird species. we will have a picnic Lunch in the park . There are places for bathroom and also cofee stops. DAY 7: Amboseli - Nairobi Optional early morning game drive between 6 and 8 am strictly. After breakfast check out and drive to Nairobi. Day one begins with pickup from Nairobi and travels along the Great Rift Valley towards the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Stop along the way to soak up the view from a magnificent lookout, then arrive at the park just in time for lunch. Later, set out on an epic evening game drive across the rich, tree-studded grasslands and rolling hills. The famous Maasai Mara is renowned for its great herds of black-maned lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and virtually every type of Kenyan wildlife. After a restful night’s sleep at your camp, enjoy a picnic-style breakfast to set you up for day two. Head out on a full-day game drive, with a visit to the Mara River which is home to a large concentration of animals. Once you’ve worked up a bit of an appetite, have lunch at a viewpoint overlooking the crocodiles and hippos lazing in the river. Afterward, you have the option to visit a Maasai cultural village to gain insight into the homes and social structure of the Maasai people as well as how they live in harmony with the environment and the animals. Wake up early on day three have breakfast before departing to Nakuru National Park, have an option of visitng Masai Village at own cost $20 per person payable to Masai Moran direct. Stop over for a picnic lunch along the way and soak up views of the magnificent Kenyan landscape that surrounds you. Arrive in Nakuru and, if time allows, pass by Naivasha for a boat ride, at your own expense. Day four begins with a hearty, early morning breakfast followed by a tour through Nakuru Park, which is home to over 350 species of birds including colorful flamingos. The park is also home to black and white rhinos and has been established for the protection of endangered species such as this. After an unforgettable four-day experience, relax and reflect on the return journey to your hotel or airport in Nairobi.

Its a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. Here we will also come accross the rare rothschild girrafe also called white socks for having no marks below the knee. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos. Game drive here lasts for 3 to 4 Hours. Later depart Nakuru for Nairobi. Lunch will be provided at a travellers Motel on the way. Arrive Nairobi Between 4 and 5 pm depending on traffic END OF SAFARI

There can be up to two million greater and lesser flamingoes and tens of thousands of other birds at Lake Nakuru. As a result the park is referred to as the "Birds' Paradise". The National Park is also a rhino sanctuary with excellent wildlife viewing. You'll enjoy wildlife viewing as soon as you enter the park gates, and when it's time for lunch, you'll stop at the lodge where you can purchase a meal at a local restaurant(own expense)  After lunch, continue to enjoy wildlife viewing on the drive out of the park. You'll leave the park at approximately 3:00 PM and head to Lake Naivasha for an optional 1-hour boat ride. If you'd like to include the boat ride, be sure to select the correct option when making your booking. On the boat ride, enjoy bird watching, eagle feeding, and hippo viewing. At the end of the boat ride, you'll head back to Nairobi for a 6:00 PM arrival.

Day 2: Maasai Mara Full Day Early breakfast followed by a full day game drive within the reserve as the rains bring the grasslands of Masai Mara to life, the vast plains rumble with the thunder of approaching hooves as 1.5 million wildebeest migrate up the south into Masai Mara from Serengeti. The great *migration is* a vision beyond belief of one of the world’s most impressive spectacles staged every year in Kenya, directed by raw forces of nature. You will also appreciate its high animal concentration and abundance of black-maned lions, herds of antelope, cheetah and common zebra though luck is essential for spotting leopards and rhinos. Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nakuru (via Lake Naivasha for boat ride) You will have breakfast at the camp/lodge and thereafter drive to Nakuru via Lake Naivasha for an hour boat ride with lunch. On this day, you have an optional visit to Masai Village in Maasai Mara in the morning before leaving. The village cost USD 20 per person ( paid in cash at the village). Arrive Nakuru in the late evening. Dinner and overnight at Buraha Zenoni resort Day 4: Nakuru to Amboseli You will have an early breakfast, check out and depart by 7am to straight to Lake Nakuru National park for game drive. It’s a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. Game drive lasts for a minimum of 4 hours. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingoes. In this park you will also spot the rare endangered Rothschild giraffe. Thereafter, drive to Amboseli National Park with lunch on the way at Naivasha Arrive Amboseli in the evening. You will not go on a game drive because of late arrival in Amboseli. Dinner and overnight at Nyati camp Day 5: Amboseli Full Day Early morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast Full day game drive in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents. Day 6: Amboseli to Nairobi You will have an early breakfast then check out with all your luggage followed by a short morning game drive en-route off Amboseli and drive to Nairobi. When you arrive you will be dropped off to your hotel or the Airport. This marks the end of the tour.
