Lake Nakuru National Park

Day one begins with pickup from Nairobi and travels along the Great Rift Valley towards the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Stop along the way to soak up the view from a magnificent lookout, then arrive at the park just in time for lunch. Later, set out on an epic evening game drive across the rich, tree-studded grasslands and rolling hills. The famous Maasai Mara is renowned for its great herds of black-maned lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and virtually every type of Kenyan wildlife. After a restful night’s sleep at your camp, enjoy a picnic-style breakfast to set you up for day two. Head out on a full-day game drive, with a visit to the Mara River which is home to a large concentration of animals. Once you’ve worked up a bit of an appetite, have lunch at a viewpoint overlooking the crocodiles and hippos lazing in the river. Afterward, you have the option to visit a Maasai cultural village to gain insight into the homes and social structure of the Maasai people as well as how they live in harmony with the environment and the animals. Wake up early on day three have breakfast before departing to Nakuru National Park, have an option of visitng Masai Village at own cost $20 per person payable to Masai Moran direct. Stop over for a picnic lunch along the way and soak up views of the magnificent Kenyan landscape that surrounds you. Arrive in Nakuru and, if time allows, pass by Naivasha for a boat ride, at your own expense. Day four begins with a hearty, early morning breakfast followed by a tour through Nakuru Park, which is home to over 350 species of birds including colorful flamingos. The park is also home to black and white rhinos and has been established for the protection of endangered species such as this. After an unforgettable four-day experience, relax and reflect on the return journey to your hotel or airport in Nairobi.

Spot Africa’s Big Five game animals, enjoy sunsets over the savanna, and camp out in spacious tents on the reserve. Day 1Start early with pickup from your hotel and drive to Maasai Mara. Your first stop will be at a viewpoint with breathtaking views over the Great Rift Valley, before continuing to a traveler's motel for lunch. Check-in to the campground late in the afternoon, then drive out for a sunset game viewing. Dig-in to a buffet dinner back at the campground and enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars. Get settled in your spacious self-contained tent, complete with a bed, bathroom, and hot water and electricity in the evening. Day 2Drive out into the reserve for a full day of exploring as you search for the Big Five. Optionally, start the day with an early morning balloon safari to admire the Mara form the air. Pause under the shade of the croton trees for a picnic lunch and admire the park's expansive plains. In the afternoon, reach the Mara river, the site of the annual wildebeest migration, and see the hippos and crocodiles lying along its banks. Return to camp for the evening or, optionally, visit the local Maasai village for a cultural tour and a chance to learn about the community. Day 3After an early breakfast, check out and Head to Lake Nakuru and stop for lunch in the local town before continuing to your accommodation for the night. Day 4Start with another early breakfast and depart for Nakuru National Park for a 3-hour game drive. The park is home to a sanctuary for black and rare white rhinos, as well as flocks of pink flamingos that live at the lake’s edge. To finish the tour, make your way back to Nairobi. Stop for lunch on the way before you are dropped-off back at your hotel in the city.

Your adventure begins at 6:00 AM with pickup in Nairobi. From there you'll head straight to Lake Nakuru National Park. The Lake is renowned as a bird sanctuary with over 400 bird species at times. There can be up to two million greater and lesser flamingoes and tens of thousands of other birds at Lake Nakuru. As a result the park is referred to as the "Birds' Paradise". The National Park is also a rhino sanctuary with excellent wildlife viewing. You'll enjoy wildlife viewing as soon as you enter the park gates, and when it's time for lunch, you'll stop at the lodge where you can purchase a meal at a local restaurant(own expense)  After lunch, continue to enjoy wildlife viewing on the drive out of the park. You'll leave the park at approximately 3:00 PM and head to Lake Naivasha for an optional 1-hour boat ride. If you'd like to include the boat ride, be sure to select the correct option when making your booking. On the boat ride, enjoy bird watching, eagle feeding, and hippo viewing. At the end of the boat ride, you'll head back to Nairobi for a 6:00 PM arrival.

Lake Nakuru National Park is a popular day trip destination from Nairobi, located just two and a half hours away by road. The park is known for its vast population of flamingos, as well as other bird species and wildlife such as rhinos, zebras, and baboons. Visitors can embark on a game drive through the park to spot these animals and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding landscape. The park also features a stunning waterfall and viewpoints overlooking the lake. It is recommended to bring binoculars and a camera to capture the experience. After meeting your guide in the lobby of your hotel, start your journey to Nakuru National Park. While en route, stop at the Great Rift Valley view point where you will attain magnificent views of the escarpments. After a beautiful drive, you will arrive at Lake Nakuru by 9:00am. Lake Nakuru National Park is the only park where you are guaranteed to see rhinos in their natural habitat. On the way to the park, enjoy a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to see the volcano below. Upon your arrival, start the 3-hour game drive with your guide. Break for lunch at a local restaurant at Lake Nakuru Lodge (own cost). After lunch, continue to explore the park with your guide as you head toward Lake Naivasha. Leaving the park at approximately 3:00pm you will swap your car for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. While on the boat ride, enjoy bird watching, eagle feeding, and hippo viewing. Relax on the journey back to Nairobi, with drop-off at your hotel.

After getting picked up from your hotel in Nairobi, head to the Giraffe Center, where you can see giraffes living in a semi-wild state. Learn about their behaviors, traits and conservation efforts. You will also get the opportunity to feed these gentle giants. Next, head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Take a walk through the center where baby elephants wait to be fed. Watch them play in the water and gargle their milk and discover each of the elephant's personal story. Once the youngest are fed, its time to feed the 2-3-year-olds, some of whom are old enough to feed themselves. Watch as they hold their giant milk bottles in their trunks and make quick work of several gallons of milk. After giraffe center you vist the Famous Karen blixxen museum of Out of africaKaren Blixen Museum was once the centre piece of a farm at the foot of the Ngong Hills owned by Danish Author Karen and her Swedish Husband, Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke. Located 10km from the city centre, the Museum belongs to a different time period in the history of Kenya. The farm house gained international fame with the release of the movie ‘Out of Africa’ an Oscar winning film based on Karen’s an autobiography by the same title. Your final stop before heading back to Nairobi will be the Kazuri Beads Factory. Get the opportunity to admire the beautiful beads and pottery which have been handcrafted by African women. Day 1 Nairobi - Masai Mara Meet and greet at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with our Tour driver guide of Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris. Depart from Nairobi to start your safari to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley where you’ll stop for panoramic and breathtaking views. Descend the escarpment and drive through the Hemingway-trails to Narok town and proceed to Masai Mara check-in at your camp and have lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park viewing the migrating wildebeest and zebra. Search for the Cheetah, Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Your dinner and overnight will at the Mara Sopa Lodge (Superior). Day 2 Masai Mara Game Reserve After breakfast at 0730hrs full day spent game viewing across the rich, tree-studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya, lunch is served in the park at the Mara River, the border of Kenya and Tanzania and the scene for yearly wildebeest migration after lunch continues with your game drive covering the park into sections. Return to the camp at 1730hrs. Optional visit to the Masai villages or nature walk with Masai guides can be taken at this time. Your dinner and overnight will at the Mara Sopa Lodge (Superior). Day 3 Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru After the main breakfast, Leave Mara for Nakuru arriving in time for lunch and check-in at Lake Nakuru Hotel. Enjoy an afternoon game drive at the Lake Nakuru National park to see one of the largest ornithological spots. The Great Rift Valley has formed millions of years ago. Stretching some 6,500 kilometers from Jordan / Northern Africa to Mozambique / South Africa. It’s the largest Rift on Earth. In Kenya, the rift gave rise to many lakes that have become a habitat for diverse wildlife. One such lake is Lake Nakuru- an alkaline lake. Famously Lake Nakuru attracts seasonal vast numbers of fabulously colored pink flamingos to its shallow waters, Hippos, various animals, white and black rhinos, giraffes, tree-climbing lions, leopards and a profusion of birds are also present at the lake. Your dinner and overnight will at the Nakuru Sopa Lodge (Superior). Day 4 Lake Nakuru - Nairobi After early breakfast, proceed for an en-route game drive in the park to see the lion, buffalo, hyena, water buck and the antelope. Depart for Nairobi after lunch for Nairobi and drive to a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint arriving in Nairobi at your hotel/residence between 16:30 hrs. and 17:00 hrs. with lots of treasured album and good memories to take home.

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara After pickup from your hotel you will proceed to Maasai Mara. You have a brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to take photos of the escarpment. Arrive for lunch then proceed for a game drive upon arrival to this world’s best-loved reserves with wide savannah rolling hills and riverine forest, with huge grazing herds, bountiful bird life, and Africa’s largest population of lion. Overnight Stay at Miti Mingi camp or similar. Day 2: Maasai Mara Full Day Early breakfast followed by a full day game drive within the reserve as the rains bring the grasslands of Masai Mara to life, the vast plains rumble with the thunder of approaching hooves as 1.5 million wildebeest migrate up the south into Masai Mara from Serengeti. The great *migration is* a vision beyond belief of one of the world’s most impressive spectacles staged every year in Kenya, directed by raw forces of nature. You will also appreciate its high animal concentration and abundance of black-maned lions, herds of antelope, cheetah and common zebra though luck is essential for spotting leopards and rhinos. Overnight Stay at Miti Mingi camp or similar. Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nakuru After an early morning breakfast depart for Nakuru National Park. Arrive on time for lunch. The lake is a spectacular ocean of pink surrounded by forests and plains that are home to lions, rhinos, leopards, and large herds of waterbuck. Afternoon game drives around the lake. Day 4: Nakuru to Amboseli Pick up from the hotel in the morning drive to Amboseli national park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Arrive in time for lunch , Check in at AA lodge have lunch and a short rest. Afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Day 5: Amboseli Full Day Early morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast Full day game drive in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents. Day 6: Amboseli to Nairobi You will have an early breakfast then check out with all your luggage followed by a short morning game drive en-route off Amboseli and drive to Nairobi. When you arrive you will be dropped off to your hotel or the Airport. This marks the end of the tour.

You will be picked from your Hotel or Airport at 6:30am in Nairobi and for depart Nairobi for Nakuru with a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru National park and proceed for a 2hr game drive. At 1230hrs you will enjoy lunch at the Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar. Enjoy an afternoon game drive a long side the shores of the lake where you will have an opportunity of seeing millions of migratory birds. In the acacia woodland, you will search for the plain game including the White Rhino. After the game we depart the park and start our drive back to Nairobi. Lake Nakuru National Park hosts the Lake Nakuru a fresh water lake, which is well known for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores. The surface of the shallow lake is often hardly recognizable due to the continually shifting mass of pink. The lake’s abundance of algae attracts the vast quantity of flamingos that famously lines the shore.The park has recently been enlarged partly to provide the sanctuary for the black rhino. This undertaking has necessitated a fence – to keep out poachers rather than to restrict the movement of wildlife.

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara At 8a.m you will be picked up from your hotel. Commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint where you will stop over to view of the floor of the Rift Valley. Arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp or similar in time for lunch, check in. Enjoy a sunset game drive from 4.30-6.30p.m. Return to camp for dinner Day 2: Full Day in Maasai Mara Spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty. This day you will go all the way to the river where the wildebeest cross into Mara from Serengeti. All year round there are lots of resident Hippos and crocodiles sited at the banks of Mara river. Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nakuru Breakfast, checkout. Option: Masai village visit $20 per person Thereafter commence the drive to Nakuru. Arrive in time for lunch followed by relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Lanet Matfam Private safari to Naivasha and Amboseli National Park. Day 4: Nakuru to Naivasha Breakfast. Depart by 7 a.m straight to the park. It's a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos. Possibly observe the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts 3 hrs, after which you depart on a 1-hr drive to Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch at Astorian Hotel. After lunch, head to Hell's Gate for a biking safari. Later go for a 1hr boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing. Day 5: Naivasha - Amboseli Breakfast then drive to Amboseli National park which is famous for its scenery, backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro which dominates the landscape and open plains. Arrive in time for lunch. Check in at AA Lodge Amboseli have lunch and a short rest. Afternoon game drive in search of its game animals with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later return to AA Lodge Amboseli for dinner and overnight. Day 6: Amboseli Full day Breakfast, and spend the day in Amboseli National Park. Known for large elephant herds, and views of Mount Kilimanjaro across the border in Tanzania, observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and hundreds of bird species. Day 7: Amboseli - Nairobi After breakfast check out with a short game drive enroute to Nairobi. We will provide simple complimentary snack lunch on the way. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the Airport.
