Lake Mead: Tours & Tickets
What people are saying about Lake Mead
Not sure of the driver/tour guide's name as it wasn't mentioned by the time he picked our group up, but he did a good job and was funny at times. We would have loved a few more details on sites we visited. My biggest gripe was no water on the bus, which I have not experienced on a bus tour before. Stopping at the Memorial Bridge, the vending machines were empty. Thankfully, a competing bus driver/tour guide provided some of us water and very kind tourists handed others on our bus water from the back of their car. A $3.00/24 pack addition, I would recommend for every trip or make it VERY clear water is not provided by stating, BRING YOUR OWN WATER. I had to call to get pick up details, which was weird and not very professional (sounded like the person who just answered, "Hello," was at a bar?) I'm not going to lie, it was sketchy, but he was nice and precise. Pick up location was great, albeit a little later than expected (15 min), not a problem. The info wasn't clear on lunch.
This was an amazing experience that my parents and I will remember for a lifetime. We were very lucky to have Pasquale as our tour guide with my parents and five other travelers. Pasquale not only drove us to the Grand Canyon West rim, he was a super knowledgeable, enjoyable tour guide. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was enjoying the experience. He volunteered to take photos of all of us and made sure he accommodated all of our needs. I especially appreciated how kind he was to my parents. I absolutely recommend this to anybody who want to take their parents or families to the beautiful Guano Point in the west rim of the Grand Canyon for half a day and see the amazing sunset. Food and water was provided, as well as, non-alcoholic sparkling cider to be enjoyed for that perfect sunset photo with your significant other or family members. This is something that everyone at all ages can enjoy like my 60 something year old parents.
This is an excellent activity if you are looking for outdoor things to do. I'm glad we took the early morning hike (6:00am) because we beat the heat and we had the trails mostly to ourselves. Mason was an excellent guide, as he explained about the plants and critters we encountered a long the way and also made sure that our first ever hike was appropriate to our abilities. We were able to appreciate the beauty of multicolored rocks and the Fire Wave and view the Petroglyphs in addition to taking the hike to Mouse's tank in about 3.5 hours. We will definitely take another hike with Mason the next time we visit Vegas!
I selected the intense level hike in the Valley of Fire - the Fire Wave Trail. Our guide Sarah made the trip! She was extremely knowledgeable and fun to hike with while accommodating all those in my group who are difficult to please. I would recommend this tour company - fun for all ages with differing hiking expertise. This is my second trip with this company and they did not disappoint! They were on time, communicative throughout the entire process, and professional.
The experience was great! Picked us up on time, great flights to and from, but the actual 4 wheeling was FABULOUS!!! Rick/Adam was a fantastic guide and made the trip such fun, enjoyable and memorable!!! The lunch was great! We would recommend this trip to everyone!
