Start the tour with an early morning pick up from your hotel or accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe. Then, head to Kayabwe for your breakfast stop after which you will be taken to Lake Mburo National Park, located in Kiruhura District in the Western Region of Uganda (approximately 240 km west of Kampala). Once in the park, embark on a 3-hour game drive in search of the many species the park has to offer. The park has a variety of animals such as zebra, hippopotamus, impala, warthog, common eland, African buffalo, jackal, lion, African leopard, and over 300 bird species. You will have the option to leave the vehicle and go on a guided walk along the walking trail. After the game drive, enjoy the chance to relax in the shade while lunch is served. After lunch, head to the lakeshore to enjoy a 2-hour boat trip. During the cruise, spot hippos, hornbills, and papyrus gonaleks. Finally, head back to Kampala, stopping at the Equator to experience being in both hemispheres at the same time. Be sure to take some pictures here of this unforgettable experience. Once back in Kampala, get dropped off back at your accommodation to conclude the tour.

Day-by-day itinerary Day 1; Arrival, Entebbe & Lake Victoria Welcome Tour Welcome to Uganda, “Tusanyuse okukulaba” meaning we are happy to see you. Depending on your arrival time, our company representative will meet and pick you up and proceed to check in, have lunch and embark on a conservation tour of Entebbe City including the Botanical gardens located on the shores of Lake Victoria where you will encounter lots of monkeys and birds of different species as you enjoy the cool breeze before you later proceed to imperial resort beach where you will enjoy the evening walking on the white sand beach with a cold drink! Today, you have the option to partake in the luxury spa at The lush Victoria Hotel. After this cool relaxation from the long flight, proceed back to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Option 1: Cassia Lodge Option 2: 2 Friends Hotel Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park After breakfast, embark on the transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda harboring over 300 of them, more reason why it should be your safari destination. The drive will take you southwest Uganda by road, cross the Equator then to Mbarara for Lunch and through Savannah grasslands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The scenic drive through Kigezi Highlands [commonly referred to as “the Switzerland of Uganda”] and banana plantations take you to the gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi NP. You will arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and will mainly do little but just check in your accommodation and relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the next day. The beauty of this rainforest is remarkable! The area offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long-savored. Return to your lodge. Have your lunch and thereafter check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m) but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — you could admire them all day. On your way to the park, you will have an en-route lunch in Mbarara after which proceed with your journey to the park, when you arrive at the park you will have a game drive through the park where you will get a closer look at some of the park animals such as zebras, buffaloes warthogs, warthogs, hyenas, leopards, impalas, topis among others. Later drive to your lodge, check-in, have dinner, and have an overnight stay. Retire and return to your lodge for relaxation as you prepare to take a two-hour boat cruise along the lake where you will see some of the wildlife species like the hippos and crocodiles in the waters then the buffaloes and antelopes on the lake shores bathing or drinking water. Drive back to the lodge for relaxation. This will give you an amazing glimpse of the Savannah and the 5 lakes. You will also see various animals such as buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, hyenas, topis, and hippos, also not forgetting the different bird species on the acacia trees and near the lake making beautiful sounds. After the game drive, you shall check out and head to Kampala, having a stopover in Masaka for lunch and also at the Equator for photos as you proceed to Kampala reaching in the afternoon before you transfer to the airport for your departure back home.
