Visit the Ice Grotto, or take the Ice Flyer chairlift to get up close to the glaciers at an altitude of over 9,800 feet (3,000 meters). Adventure seekers can slide through the snow and down the mountainside on a snow tube – the choice is yours.

Treat yourself to a 1-hour cruise in Lucerne onboard a panoramic yacht. Climb aboard the yacht at Bridge 7 at "Schweizerhofquai", located directly across from the Schweizerhof Hotel. Reach the summit via bus, cable car, boat, and cogwheel train. For the return journey, hop on a boat cruise across Lake Lucerne. Leave from Zurich Main Station in the morning and enjoy the bus ride through the countryside along the Lake of the Four Cantons to Lucerne. Continue to Kriens and take a panoramic gondola and cable car to the summit of Mount Pilatus (2128 m above sea level). Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Swiss Alpine landscape and the surrounding lakes. Then, ride on one of the steepest funiculars down to Alpnachstad. Take in the countryside as you pass by Lake Lucerne. Stop to visit the beautiful city of Lucerne with an hour of free time.  Continue to Engelberg to check out the stunning Baroque church of the monastery which was built by Benedictine monks in 1120 and still functions to this day. Stroll through the monastery garden to explore the monks' flower shop, or head to the show dairy to discover the secrets of the renowned Swiss cheese. Spend the next hours strolling through the village and shopping for souvenirs at a local cheese shop.  Alternatively, you can hike one of the well-prepared trails in the beautiful surroundings or take the funicular up to Gerschnialp to enjoy beautiful views of Engelberg. Return to your meeting point in Zurich at the end of your tour. 

Start your trip at Kriens valley station and enjoy the 30 minutes ride with the panorama-gondola from Kriens to Fräkmüntegg, where in winter, there are sledging routes and snowshoe trails from Fräkmüntegg down to Krienseregg; the rental station is at the valley station in Kriens. At Fräkmüntegg you will change to the aerial cableway "Dragon Ride" and reach the summit Pilatus Kulm at 2132 meters above sea level in 5 minutes. At the top of Lucerne's landmark mountain, you can enjoy the great panoramic view or discover the Dragon World with its interactive games about Pilatus' dragon legends. At Krienseregg, Fräkmüntegg, and Pilatus Kulm you can try some local specialties in one of the restaurants before heading back to Kriens by cable car.

Discover Rigi, the Queen of the Mountains, from its most beautiful side on a half or full-day tour. Begin with a boat tour on Lake Lucerne to Vitznau. Modern motor boats and nostalgic steamboats (in the summer) bring you over the incredible, fjord-like water to Vitznau. From Vitznau, head to the Rigi Train on the queen of the mountains. Fantastic views of the Swiss Plateau, the Black Forest, the Vosges Mountains, and the Alps await from Rigi Kulm. Descend with the rack railway to Rigi Kaltbad and from there take the cable car to Weggis. Finally, return by boat to Lucerne. Please note: from 18 - 22 November and 25 to 29 November 2024 as well as from 10 March to 4 April 2025 and 17 to 28 November 2025 the cable car from Rigi Kaltbad to Weggis is not operating due to maintenance work. During this time The excursion to Rigi will be made via Vitznau for both the outbound and return journeys. You are not bound to specific times and can choose the times for yourself.
