Depart Bergamo and journey to the medieval city of Verona, where you can travel back to the days of Shakespeare and call for Romeo from the balcony of Juliet's House. Admire the Roman arena, where operas and summer concerts are still performed on a regular basis. Get some time to stroll the narrow streets and discover Renaissance palaces at leisure. Then, make your way to Lake Garda and visit Sirmione. Wander the narrow streets of the former Roman summer retreat to see highlights such as the ruins of the city walls and Roman villa. Marvel at the 13th-century castle and see a rare example of a medieval port fortification used by the Scaliger fleet.

Amazing trip, so much was seen in just couple of hours. Andrea had souch knowledge about Verona and it was cool to hear all the insights from the history.. One thing I can count as a bad one is that the bus in the morning was late 30minutes and we were worried for a bit but once it came it was an amazing experience!

So lovely to have a tour guide so passionate and knowledgeable about Verona! The entire trip was beautiful, well organised and lead by Alessandra who was so helpful throughout. She was particularly kind to an elderly couple on the trip, ensuring they were OK and giving them plenty of advice for their onward journey. A brilliant day from start to finish.
