We spent an amazing afternoon here, it is so much more than just a wine testing. There is a generous food pairing with each wine, white, red and rose and plenty of water if it is very hot, as it was on our visit today. The location is fabulous, with panoramic views across the northern end of Lake Como and access via car was easy enough. Sylvia was a fabulous host, explaining about her family’s wine business and history. She gave very good tasting notes and the tour of the winery was excellent. Nothing was rushed. The wines themselves were absolutely first rate in an area not noted for wine production and we bought several bottles to bring home. A really worthwhile trip, great value. Highly recommended. Even you’re not into wine, this would be a great experience if you’re in the area.

Discover how a fine wine is born, see where it ages and enjoy samples on a tour and tasting at a Lake Como winery. Enjoy local delicacies as well.
Spend an enjoyable day at a prestigious winery in Domaso on Lake Como. Visit the wine cellar and then enjoy the wine tasting session in the tasting terrace surrounded by Alps and an amazing view on Lake Como.
With the guide of the winemaker you will enjoy 3 fine wines paired with local food delicacies, white wine with local ham and olive oil, red wine with local cheese and other sophisticated pairings.
Naturally leavened bread made with special flour accompanies each tasting.
You will learn about local viticulture as well as the stages of wine production.

  • We highly recommend to check your route before traveling and find out the best way for you to get to the winery, the main ways to get there are with your own vehicle, by bus from Como or Lake Villages line C 1O (from Como - Stazione S.Giovanni, in Domaso: Piazza Ghislanzoni) and with the Navigazione laghi (https://www.navigazionelaghi.it/en/tickets-and-timetables-lake-como/)that offers a ship service (not in winter season) which has a reduced number of daily departures, check the availability of the period of your experience of the fast-hydrofoils with stop in Domaso and buy your tickets in advance, in high season there is a lot of demand and long lines to buy tickets.
  • When you are in Domaso, please consider that you have to walk about 20-30 minutes to reach us. If you don’t want to walk, please text us for a taxi service ( price not included and organized in advance), thank you.

The winery tour was everything we could have hoped for! Amazing food and wine with an amazing view. The family was so sweet and we really enjoyed learning about the wine and their history. Would definitely recommend!
