This dual perspective offers a more comprehensive appreciation of the marine environment. 3. Close Encounter with Marine Life Kayaking to snorkeling spots means you can encounter marine life in their natural habitats, from dolphins and sea turtles to colorful fish and coral reefs. 4. Exercise and Fitness Both activities provide a good workout. Kayaking strengthens your upper body, core, and cardiovascular system, while snorkeling provides a gentle, full-body workout that emphasizes breathing control and endurance. 5. Adventure and Exploration The combination adds a sense of adventure to your trip. You can explore hidden coves, paddle through mangroves, or navigate along rugged coastlines, and then dive in to explore the underwater wonders. 6. Family-Friendly Activity This combination is suitable for families, including children. Kids can enjoy the excitement of paddling and the wonder of discovering underwater life, making it an educational and entertaining activity for all ages. 7. Eco-Friendly Exploration Kayaking is a low-impact, environmentally friendly way to explore coastal areas without disturbing the natural habitats. Snorkeling allows you to observe marine life without causing harm. 8. Photography Opportunities Bringing along a waterproof camera or a GoPro allows you to capture stunning photos and videos both above and below the water, creating lasting memories of your adventure. Joe was our guide for our tour. They were very helpful, friendly, and experienced in the water. I was a bit nervous as it was my first time snorkeling but I felt no fear with Joe in the water to guide us! He brought up sea creatures for us to hold and take pictures with: a sea urchin, starfish, and even an octopus! He also made every effort to make sure we saw and took pictures with at least one turtle - and we saw 3! They provided all snorkel gear required as well as brought a boogie board out to float on if you were to ever get tired with or without a life jacket. It’s good to know that this is NOT a boat tour and you walk/swim out onto the beach. This wasn’t clear in the original listing, but we enjoyed our tour very much and would book again! Thank you so much Zephyr for the amazing memories, pictures, and laughs! Definitely recommend to all considering, and to support a local Maui business. Thank you all again!

We used the Road to Hana self-guided audio tour. We really enjoyed the narrator as he provided exceptional information of what to expect and the places we needed to stop at and take in. On the way back, the narrator provided information on the history of Hawaii which was interesting. Definitely well worth the money spent.

Crew was fabulous. Prompt replies to questions before cruise and picturesque evening. Crew pleasurable and attentive. Great way to spend spend an evening. Memorable experience.

This is such a great group of people and excellent working with kids and adults alike. We had an amazing time and recommend to everyone coming to Maui!!

Seeing some kids on the tour enjoying feeding the butterflies was priceless.
