Overall rating
It was a very different view of such a famous landmark. There were very few people, just other paddleboarders and so it was very tranquil. Watching the sunrise from the water was beautiful and getting up close to the rock formations was super cool for those who love geology. I was a complete newbie to paddleboarding and Jay was super encouraging and did not make me feel embarrassed at all. If there is wind you do need some arm strength on the way back so keep that in mind.
Had a lovely morning exploring caves with Nelson. Due to conditions we went to a different set of caves but they were beautiful and interesting. Nelson was a great guide, giving us tips on paddleboarding technique and I even managed to stand up which I've never done before! We also had a swim towards the end which was refreshing and fun. Would definitely recommend as an active but not crazy activity whilst in the Algarve.
Very SPECIAL Experience ;) The guide Jay was really nice and made this an unforgettable experience for everyone. He also made sure that every body was okay and had fun. Almost forgot to mention: we got lots of great pictures from the Tour! I would 100 percent do this again and had so much fun.
SUP paddle was amazing! Our Guide was excellent and even took us to a cave to cliff jump towards the end. The views were breathtaking worth every penny!
Jay jay is the best guide to wake you up so early in the morning to have a good time. Super friendly and helpful
