This was a fabulous tour to learn about some of the history of the Algarve region, explore some unique areas, like the thermal spa in Caldas, appreciate the amazing views on top of the mountain, and end the day enjoying some wonderful wine at a local winery. Antonio is an exceptional guide for this tour. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area, willing to answer all questions, and is super friendly. We even stopped at a site along the way to observe the hundred nesting white storks. It was a truly enjoyable day and I would highly recommend this tour to appreciate more about the Algarve region.

António is a very likeable and open person who already scores points on the journey with his knowledge of the area and wine production. He also scores with a very personal speech! The wine tasting at the winery is very interesting and you learn a lot about the production/processing of the wines. The wines are all worth tasting. The end is a short stay in the town of Silves, here you are let out at the monastery on the mountain and can stroll down the path to the meeting point through the town. Afterwards you will be dropped off very relaxed at the place where you were picked up.

Knowledgeable friendly driver escorted tour of vineyard , providing tastings of quality wines. Silves was a small town with quaint streets ,many cafes and restaurants. A castle,a cathedral, and museum of archeology.
