Had a wonderful day! I was able to introduce two cousins from the U.S. to the beautiful Dolomites. Our tour guide (I believe his name was Remo, if I remember it correctly) was quite knowledgeable and spoke English, German, and Italian fluently. His presentation was witty and quite detailed. The bus was quite comfortable; the driver was excellent. All in all, it was great value for money and we had a thoroughly enjoyable day!

We are a family of 3. We had a most amazing time. Our guide was Fredrico and he had an amazing way of explaining and told us so much about Dolomites and some important aspect of Italian history that added to the overall experience. Dolomites was an incredible sight and one MUST take the cable car for mesmerising views.

Full description

Depart Lake Garda and journey towards the Dolomites mountain range, stopping en route in the towns of Moena or Cavalese. Get some time to window shop and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate before traveling to the Pordoi Pass, 2,240 meters above sea level.
Get stunning vistas of the mountains, including the summits of Marmolada, Sella, and Catinaccio. Enjoy some free time for lunch and soak up the views. 
Then, visit a typical mountain resort in the afternoon and discover the wood carvings and beautiful wooden buildings of the village of Ortisei. Buy a souvenir from the Dolomites in one of the delightful shops before the return trip to Lake Garda.
