Full description

For the first time, visit the inside of Borges Labyrinth, a 3,200-foot-long path. Grab your audio guide and listen to an original soundtrack created specifically for the site by the composer Antonio Fresa, performed by the Teatro La Fenice Orchestra.

Begin with a visit to the New Manica Lunga, the ancient Benedictine dormitory transformed into a library center with a renovation by the architect Michele De Lucchi.

Continue with a tour of the labyrinth, accessible for the first time, with an audio guide. Stroll along the path lined with 3,200 boxwood plants, designed by Randoll Coate, and inspired by the Jorge Luis Borges story "The Garden of Paths that Fork." Opt to add lunch to round off the experience.

The lunch was excellent and there was a lovely ambience in the cafe. The labyrinth was very interesting and it was fun to see it from the library terrace and to walk through it. We had fun!
