We were a group of 5 adults and 4 children and had the absolute best day touring the CInque Terre with HopHop Boat. They were extremely easy to communicate with in advance as I had reached out regarding a couple of questions. Firstly ensuring there were life jackets for children (there are) as well as adjusting the tour to stop ashore at a different place. We had booked the private tour and they were more than willing to accommodate the change. We docked in Portovenere rather than Monterosso. (We had previously been to Monterosso). Our captain shared his knowledge of the 5 towns, gave us plenty of time for swimming and was all around a great guy. Highly recommend this activity to everyone wanting to see the towns from the water as well as wanting to take a jump into the crystal clear blue waters.

We booked this trip in advance of our holiday. We found that the departure point is only 5 minutes walk from the cruise terminal, so this is a great way to experience Cinq Terre from a cruise ship. Check in was straightforward and we had only a short wait before we set off on our RIB. On a sunny calm day, it was a super 4 hours, visiting each of the towns along the coast. We enjoyed a short stop for an optional swim in the sea before docking in Monterosso for an hour ashore. The RIB was comfy, but be warned, it's not quiet. Our captain Ivan gave us a brief history and background at each of the stops and looked after us during the trip. Judging by the crowds we could see from the boat and the amount of walking involved onshore, this was certainly the perfect way to see this beautiful part of Italy.

Explore the beautiful cliffs, beaches, and colorful towns of the Cinque Terre on a sailing tour from La Spezia. You will see all five picturesque villages characterized by pastel-colored houses on a 5,5 hour boat tour.

Start your tour from Passeggiata Morin in La Spezia and sail along the western coast of the Gulf of Poets. Admire the beautiful landscape of the four villages that make up the Borgate Marinare.

Continue sailing towards Portovenere, where you will cross the Le Bocche, a strait between the town of Portovenere and the wild Palmaria Island. See the magnificent Romanesque church of San Pietro, set among the rocks and overlooking the sea.

Discover one of the unspoiled coves like Le Rosse, Monesteroli or Punta Pineda along the coastline. Grab a chance to dip in the pristine waters of the Cinque Terre Natural Park. Marvel at the beauty of Monterosso al Mare, the last and most vibrant of the five villages.

Here you can enjoy ashore local specialties such as focaccia with anchovies or delicious gelato. Pass through the local mussel farms while returning to La Spezia.

An amazing morning on the water! Check in was a breeze and the crew even offered espresso while we waited a short time to embark. The views are incredible and are the perfect way to see the villages. Our skipper Marta was fantastic. As the others thought the water was too cold, she took me on a quick excursion to swim as they had lunch in Monterosso. So fulfilling! Also need to compliment the music selection for being the perfect soundtrack for our cruise across the Ligurian. For those on the fence as to whether to see them by water or land, I was able to take the train from La Spezia later in the afternoon and explore by foot. Do both!!
