Our team will give you health and safety procedures and a snorkeling briefing to ensure your safety while snorkeling at Catalina Island. Snorkel at "The Wall," a snorkel site for both novice and expert snorkelers. Life jackets are available for those who need them. Explore the crystal-clear turquoise waters, witness the amazing underwater ecosystem, and keep an eye out for sea creatures like octopuses, lionfish, and sea horses. After snorkeling, head to the west side of Catalina Island, where you'll be taken to a private beach for a Dominican feast prepared by our chef. If you choose the VIP package, you can savor fresh fish caught that morning, along with pork, chicken, salads, pasta, and local fruits for lunch. Relax with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments while listening to the waves breaking on the shore or snorkeling near the beach. Then unwind and take in the breathtaking view. Cruise to Cotubanama National Park and South Saona with this tour with options to leave from Bayahibe Village, Dominicus, Punta Cana, Bavaro, Uvero Alto, Juan Dolio, and Boca Chica areas. Select the group or private option. Stop at Cotubanama National Park and navigate in front of El Penon where the English-speaking guide will give you some information about the history of this cliff and the indigenous Tainos, the first inhabitants of the island. Sail on to see the mangroves. Glide over to the sea to Saona Island to see the charming fishing village of Mano Juan. Walk through the colorful houses and shops in the village before going to the turtle nursery. Learn about the turtles, and see hatchings if they have left their shell. Have an authentic Dominican meal in a restaurant with a splendid view of Saona beach. After lunch, leave for Canto de La Playa for two hours of relaxing and snorkeling. Finish, at a natural pool to see huge starfishes, swim, and sip rum.

Visit the Ron Barcelo Rum Factory where you can see the live production process, learn about its history, and taste excellent products. Enjoy a unique experience provided by an eco-friendly company that is characterized by making premium quality rums. First, see the whole production process where you visit the aging cellar so you can appreciate the evaporation process, then the barrel workshop where it is prepared scraping and burning before aging, then the bottling and packaging process. Finally, go to the visitor center, see the museum which details the history of rum, and find the tasting bar and souvenir shop. Alternatively, pick the Imperial option and enjoy a tasting inside the Aging Cellar. This is a 90-minute tour that gives you access to a premium rum - The Barcelo Imperial Rum. You will have a private passionate guide who will teach you how to best appreciate the rum. Important: This fee includes only the tour inside the factory, we do not provide transportation from your location.

We will pick you up at your hotel in Punta Cana between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. to go to Bayahibe. Once there, we will board a boat to Saona Island and, halfway there, we will make a short stop at a place called Blue Lagoon. On this sandbank in the middle of the water, you will have 40 minutes to relax. In addition, not far away, we will see a sanctuary of starfish in the middle of the Caribbean Sea, there are stars of all colors! Then we will finally arrive at Saona Island, where you will enjoy two hours and 45 minutes of free time to investigate this tropical paradise. Coral reefs and long beaches full of coconut trees and fine golden sand are waiting for you. At 1:00 p.m., we will meet at the Palmera Turistica beach to replenish your energy with a buffet lunch of pasta, salads and rice dishes. Bon appetit! Afterwards, we will get on board a catamaran to make our way back while having fun with the entertainers, music, an open bar of refreshments and a festive atmosphere. Finally we will arrive at the port of Bayahibe, from where we will take you to the hotel where you will arrive after 11 hours of tour. A vehicle will be ready for you at the taxi area near the exit of the cruise terminal, where everyone from your cruise will gather. The driver will then take you to our office in Bayahibe, which is where our adventure begins. Come join us in Bayahibe for a family-friendly adventure on our waiting boat. Prepare for a special trip to Saona Island! We'll start by exploring Penon, where our guide will tell us about its history and the Taino people. After that, we'll navigate through mangroves, passing by thriving Palétuvier trees. When we arrive at Saona Island, we'll visit Mano Juan village, seeing local life among colorful houses and small shops. We'll also stop by a turtle nursery run by locals, which shows their conservation efforts, although we might not see newborns due to seasonal changes. For lunch, you can taste Dominican cuisine while enjoying stunning views of Saona Beach. During lobster season (July 1st - February 29th), it's available for $25 per person. Later, we'll head to Canto de la Playa, a beautiful beach perfect for relaxing or snorkeling. Our final stop is a natural pool where you can see large starfish (please avoid touching them). Guests can swim in the shallow waters and enjoy refreshing drinks, ending the journey with unforgettable memories when we return to Bayahibe port. The tour ends in Bayahibe, where your transport will be waiting to take you back to La Romana port.
