Excellent trip being the only couple with the tour guide. It was like a personal tour with Pela (spelling?). The variety of the two winery locations was excellent. The personal attention we received made it feel like a VIP Tour. Also enjoyed the walk in the historic town. We have already recommended this tour and guide to others. We learned so much from the tour guide that it was well worth the cost. You just can't learn the culture and people and history just walking about yourself.

Excellent day in Rioja with Michael. Michael was very accomodating to drive out to Haro from Madrid to meet us, and spent a day taking us through Rioja Alavessa and Rioja Alta. The choice of stops was thoughtful, and gave us a good snapshot of different types of Bodega in the region. Would whole heartedly do this again, and look forward to some of Michael's other tours of Spanish appelations when we next visit.

The tour is well worth it, the places we visited, the wineries, the landscapes were all beautiful. And especially to our guide Stephane. Thank you for your patience, your formality, and thank you very much for your clear explanations and teachings which allowed us to understand the history surrounding each place we visited, making our tour quite enjoyable. I would definitely repeat it.
